Nice friendly place and great food

Cozy with slightly upscale menu. Not your typical beach fare. Lovely view of old school Florida coastline. Friendly service. Delicious food.

Just left with a party of 13. Some of our party graduated High School with the owner so it was like a reunion in your families dining room. Table clothes, curtains and great food on the beach in a cozy comfy dining room. The owners make everything from scratch with the freshest ingredients. John the owner is also the cook so he is really invested. Yes, it might take an extra couple of minutes but well worth it. We will definitely return to try some of the other choices on the menu.

Just had a delicious Valentine's dinner with wine pairings for a very reasonable price. Amazing value. John and Patsy...the best. Food was superb, service excellent. You won't be disappointed.

Rough on the outside, but delicious on the inside. Great, attentive welcoming staff and delicious food. Something for our vegetarian, our meat lover friend . and great fish and scallops. All reasonably priced .We will definitely be back.

Lovely little Bistro. Wonderful fresh and creative food. Funky fun atmosphere. The chef is very talented and his wife takes care of anything you might possibly want or need. They make you feel right at home your first visit.

Wow, great breakfast. Perfectly poached eggs on my Benedict. Just moved here ,found my go to. Cant wait to start on the dinner menu. Small quaint ocean front venue,no hurries be patient. Owners work their restaurant and are nice,nice,nice.

This is my favorite place for breakfast on the East Coast. I was tentative about giving this a five star.... NOT because of the food or service, I just don't want this place to be so busy to where I can't get a seat. 😉It's not cheap so that should weed a few people out. Breakfast for two with mimosas including tip $80.

Food was good and service was very friendly. Good people. Panko crusted chick on a bed of risotto was delicious. Linguine and white clam sause was very good too.

Small place with a GREAT view of the ocean. The food is AMAZING with dishes I haven't before seen... I.E. banana bread french toast or grilled meatloaf sandwich mmmmmm! The staff is very very friendly. Warning... the kitchen can be a bit slow, but when you taste your meal you will understand. Quality like that doesn't come from a freezer or microwave. Prices are very reasonable if not inexpensive. Then throw in the heavenly meal with a view and it becomes dirt cheap. We will be returning again and again.

If you are looking for an incredible time, great food and a laid back dining experience this is the place. Wonderfully friendly and warm owners and workers. Fine Dining, looking across A1A at the Atlantic Ocean. Excellent Staff and Meals. We went early and it was quiet ( at first ), but the tables were almost all full by the time we left. Reservations are recommended.

There needs to be more stars. This place is fantastic.I had the Fettuccine Carbonara and it was fantastic.Bill had the Veal Marsala over Angel Hair Pasta and he was equally delighted.The Chocolate Mousse and Strawberry Cheesecake topped of the meal splendidly.

Had the Reuben Eggs Benedict and it was awesome. Managed to get a seat right up by the window with a great view since the restaurant is on the beach. Perfect place for breakfast.

Brunch was great! $10 bottomless mimosas.Best potato pancakes ever. All the food was great...lot of Benedict options.Good service.They even have some family feud cards on the table which was so much fun.

This wonderful new find is amazing. We loved our dinners. My husband ordered the carbonara which was so delicious. I ordered the veal. You won't be disappointed. You must try the signature dessert! Blueberry bread pudding! We're heading back soon.

Great reviews for the Blue Heron are genuinely well-deserved. Food and service are over the top. We love unique mom-n-pop restaurants and this one's not to be missed. We'll be back!

These wonderful people opened their restaurant for us on a day they were closed so we could have an intimate wedding reception for a small group of family and friends. They don't normally do private parties. They put together a great menu with two entree choices, stuffed grouper or stuffed chicken with mushroom risotto, wonderful bread with dipping sauce and salad. Oh my God, the food was delicious! The owners' hospitality made the whole experience wonderful. They baked our wedding cake and I wish I could post a picture here, it was GORGEOUS and to die for! I love Blue Heron Beachfront Bistro and they made my wedding day perfect! I highly recommend Blue Heron!

Finally went to Blue Heron and it was awesome. My Dad was visiting and he is a real foodie. We were all impressed with the owner, staff and the quality of food. I will definitely be going again. Highly recommend.

The meal was delicious and the staff was pleasant. It was a long wait to receive our salads after placing our orders. Only 3 options for beers and none of them good.

We had an Absolutely wonderful dining experience at the Blue Heron. The food was amazing, the service was wonderful & we will be back again very soon.

Best food in town!!!! Best seafood dishes, stuffed grouper, Shrimp and Grouper Scampi everything there is absolutely wonderful!

Family owned and ran. The waitress was the chef’s daughter who happens to own the place. Easy on the eyes and highly attentive. The best kept local’s secret! The Italian themed dishes were exquisitely delicious!

Visited for breakfast and had the eggs Benedict. It was delicious! Also, on Sundays they have $10 bottomless mimosas. Staff was super friendly and the food was so good! Will be coming back in the future.

We're local, but first time here. My husband and I are both gluten intolerant so we're careful about where we eat. We heard they added gluten free options to their menu so thought we'd try it. The whole experience was wonderful. The inside is small, intimate and quiet, which is nice. You can actually talk without having to yell to be heard. The food was delicious, and gluten-free options were plentiful. We plan to go back and try something different now that we know it's safe (neither of us got sick, so no cross-contamination). And the service was very friendly. The owners "worked the floor" and talked to customers at each table. We will definitely go back.

Very good breakfast and dinner it's are new place to go, very nice people the food is excellent, i would definitely recommend the blue heron give it a try you will love it
